Kwabena Osei-Boateng: Chairman
Kwabena is the CEO of IC Securities (Ghana) Limited and is responsible for running IC Securities’ investment banking franchise globally. He has over 12 years of experience in investment banking and management consulting across several geographic markets. Prior to joining IC Securities in an executive capacity, Kwabena worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. Prior to that, Kwabena spent several years specializing in Telecoms, Media & Technology Investment Banking, first working for JP Morgan and then for LongAcre Partners (now a part of Jefferies & Company). Kwabena holds an M.Eng (Hons) degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from the University of Oxford, where he received a scholarship for academic excellence, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School, where he received first-year honours. Kwabena is also an Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow and serves on the Oxford University Alumni Board.
David Awuah-Darko: Ag. Chief Executive Officer
David Awuah-Darko is the executive chairman of IC Group, responsible for strategic initiatives and business development, and currently serves as Acting CEO of IC Asset Managers. Prior to founding the group, David started his career at Lehman Brothers International (Europe) in London as a European Equities trader. David read Mathematics & Computation at Balliol College, University of Oxford, where he earned an MA (Oxon) degree and won two half-blues in polo. David has served on Ghana’s National Bond Market Committee, is a fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and a is member of Young Presidents’ Organization.
Kofi Dadzie: Non-Executive Director
Kofi is the co-founder and CEO of Rancard Solutions. He has led Rancard in its evolution from ERP custom software development in Ghana, to a multinational mobile telecoms software and mobile advertising technology business with a client base including Google, BBC, VOA, MTV, ESPN and connectivity to global carriers Vodafone, MTN, Tigo, Zain, Airtel, Orange, Globacom and others in more than 25 countries across Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Prior to co-founding Rancard, Kofi was a senior analyst in the BIOS technology team at Dell in the US, where he filed a patent. A fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network/African Leadership Initiative, he has also served on Ashesi University’s Corporate Advisory Council, and currently on the governing council of Genius Hive, a music school and conservatory. He has a computer engineering degree from Vanderbilt University, TN, USA.
Eli Hini: Non-Executive Director
Eli is the General Manager of Mobile Financial Services (MFS) at MTN Ghana. He is a Chartered Marketer with over 17 years’ experience serving in various leadership positions in MTN Ghana, Unilever Ghana Limited and Coca-Cola Bottling Company Limited. Prior to his appointment as General Manager for MFS, he was the Commercial Senior Manager for MTN Mobile Money, a role he held from August 2008. He has been instrumental in setting up Mobile Money in Ghana and growing the subscriber base, transaction volumes and value. He also led the MTN Ghana team to receive ISO certification in 2016. With his new appointment Eli Hini is expected to drive strategy, business development, innovation and relevant operations of MTN’s Mobile Money business. Eli holds a Bachelor’s degree from KNUST and a postgraduate qualification from GIMPA.
Pius Muchiri: CFA, Non-Executive Director
Pius is the Managing Director and CEO of Nabo Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nairobi listed Centum group. He has over 11 years of investment experience in the sub-Saharan African space. Prior to heading Nabo Capital, Pius served as a Director of Centum’s Quoted Private Equity division. He holds a Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi. In addition, he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) finalist and a CFA Charter holder.

Isaac Boamah: Chief Investment Officer
Isaac is a member of ICAM’s investment committee and plays an instrumental role in shaping the Firm’s investment strategy and philosophy. As CIO, he oversees the asset allocation, risk management and performance monitoring of all client portfolios and serves as a liaison between the investment committee and portfolio managers. Isaac also manages the Firm’s global equity and real estate funds. He brings a wealth of experience to the Firm having previously worked in various consultancy and investment roles for Ghana Cocoa Board, Cedar Capital LLC (New York), United Pension Trustees, Temple Advisory, RAD Business Advisory Centre and Premium Realty. He is a member of the CFA Institute (USA), an SEC licensed Investment Advisor’s Representative, and holds a BSc Political Science degree from the University of Ghana and an MBA from the University of Cape Town (SA).
Derrick Mensah: Portfolio Manager and Head of Business Development
Derrick is a Portfolio Manager & Head of Business Development at IC Asset Managers (ICAM). He has over eight years of experience in investment analysis, valuation and corporate finance. Prior to joining ICAM, Derrick worked with African Alliance Securities as a Senior Equities Analyst with coverage across West African banks. Derrick has also been involved in raising over USD 300m in both debt and equity capital through IPOs and Private Placements. He was rated by South Africa’s Financial Times in 2014 and was awarded the prestigious honour of the Most Promising Investment Professional in 2011 by the Ghana Investment Awards. Derrick holds a BSc Biological Sciences from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana.
Obed Tawiah Odenteh: Portfolio Manager
Obed manages all the cash and fixed income assets on behalf of the Firm’s clients. He is well vested in fixed income trading, having executed cumulatively close to USD 1 billion in his previous role as head of the Fixed Income Trading Desk at IC Securities. Prior to his fixed income role, Obed served as an equity research analyst with IC Securities. Obed is licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission as a Fund Manager’s Representative. He holds a Bachelor of Management Studies degree from University of Cape Coast.
Ben Bright Addo: Vice President, Finance & Administration
Ben heads ICAM’s Finance and Administration department and brings a wealth of experience in accounting, finance, audit, tax and administration. Prior to joining IC Asset Managers, he was most recently with John Kay & Co. At John Kay & Co, he was responsible for financial reports preparation, financial reporting audit, internal audit and consultancy services. Mr. Addo previously served as an Audit Officer in BNA (Chartered Accountant and Business Advisors) and began his career as an Acting Assistant Chief Accountant at CFAO (Ghana) Limited. Ben is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK and a member of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He has an MBA (Finance) from Don Bosco University, India.
